Italy - Milan Expo 2015

Dear All,
If you were wondering how to enjoy yourself over the Spring May Day holidays starting next weekend, you could catch a cheap Ryanair flight to Milan and check out the Milan Expo 2015, which Sahaja Yoga happens to be participating in (see flyer below).

The Milano Expo 2015 is one of a series of World Expos that have taken place in major world cities; starting with the famous Great Exhibition of 1851 organised in London's Hyde Park and attracting six million people from all over the world. This years Expo will include participants from 140 countries and visitor numbers are expected to exceed 20 million.

Italy has once before been the source of major influence on the world. This was during the period of the Renaissance(14th - 17th century), when an explosion of exciting, new ideas in Arts, Science, Music and Self-awareness, sometimes represented in the person of Leonardo da Vinci, led to the beginning of the transformation of the world of the middle ages to that of modern times. Milano 2015 has the potential to move us in a similar direction.

As anyone who is seriously making the journey of self-discovery, which is sahaja yoga meditation, will know, the experience of vibrations('spanda') and vibrational awareness has many applications. We may ultimately discover that it touches on every aspect of human endeavour. Shri Mataji hinting at this potential once remarked that "anything you can do with science, you can do with sahaja yoga" (see: Theory of Everything ).

We're still taking baby steps at the moment towards exploring this further. But a good start, as you can see on the flyer below, are the breakout sessions covering implications in human health and well-being; sustainable development; art, music and culture; sustainable world food supply - agriculture.

Vediamo il Martedì ( See you on Tuesday).
Ciao!
