Fire & Water. How to Develop Yourself Faster.
Dear Friend,
In the history of yoga there has been 4 recognised paths to the fulfilment of your human potential (self-realisation).
These 4 paths are:
Bhakti Yoga (path of feelings)
Karma Yoga (path of actions)
Jnana Yoga (path of knowledge)
Raja Yoga (‘royal path’ includes hatha / ashtanga yoga)
Sahaja/ Kundalini yoga is Jnana Yoga, the path of knowledge; but a knowledge which is not mental and is instead derived from the experience on your nerves (vibes).
But Sahaja Yoga is also Raja Yoga because the kundalini uses the body as a vehicle to give you all the benefits of the practice of hatha / ashtanga yoga without any of the strain and difficulty.
If Karma and Bhakti Yoga represent the right channel (fire/sun ) and left channel (water/moon) paths respectively, then Jnana Yoga/ Kundalini Yoga represents the central channel - the ‘middle way’.
The relationship between the three is similar to the act of walking. While remaining upright and balanced ( central channel), you move first one foot forward eg. your left foot (left channel) and then the other foot (right channel).
So to move yourself forward or develop yourself faster it’s helpful to use your right side (fire / action) and left side (water / feeling).
The 2 techniques for doing this in Sahaja yoga are the ‘havan’ (subtle use of fire) and ‘puja’ (subtle use of water).
The simplest way to enact this in your personal practice is by using a lit candle (fire) to meditate and taking care of your meditation photo by keeping it in a glass frame and wiping it down with some rose water, now and then.
The effect of doing this can immediately be felt as a better flow of vibes and faster results with the things that are important to you in your day-to-day life. More below.

Best wishes
