Mind Over Matter. How To 'Think' Yourself Better & Happier. Dear Friend,
I worked for 5 years in the Health Care industry ('Big Pharma') and find it interesting how advances in technology are being applied in the field.
Data analytics/ Machine Learning is being used in drug discovery and personalised medicine. Augmented Reality (AR) has been used in surgery and Virtual Reality (VR) has been shown to be effective in physical therapy.
The use of VR in physical rehabilitation is something you may find relevant because it's a form of brain training that you're already doing but might not be aware of.
An example of the use of VR, might include doing a series of balancing exercises, in a virtual environment, that improves actual physical balance for someone with balancing problems.
The reason this works is because it has been shown that the same areas of the brain 'light up' or are activated whether a person is actually making a physical movement or is merely visualising it.
This is why techniques of mental rehearsal and visualisation are used for performance improvement in sports. 'Thinking is doing'.
'Thinking is doing' has added power with your Kundalini meditation because Kundalini is ultimate 'brain training' . With daily meditation, your Kundalini is positively rewiring your brain (neuroplasticity).
This gives you a kind of 'mind over matter' ability over yourself physically, mentally and emotionally that you can use to improve any area of your life that you want to.
