Do It Now. Reasons to Act When You Have The Chance.

Achieving Your Health, Wealth & Happiness By 10-Minutes Daily Thoughtless Awareness.

Do It Now. Reasons to Act When You Have The Chance.

Dear Friend,

"Never put off until tomorrow, what you can do today", is the advice my grandma used to give me ( OK, maybe I read that somewhere).

No matter who said it, it is generally good advice which I haven't always been able to follow . I procrastinate as much as the next person.

But some procrastination is without any real consequences. For example, me deciding to postpone the shock of opening my energy bill until tomorrow shouldn't worry the sheep in the field.

However, other kinds of procrastination can be costly and have real consequences.

The reason for this is usually because there's a closing window of opportunity in which to act. Afterwards it's too late.

Take Climate Change.

Elizabeth Kolbert is an American author and journalist, whose book The Sixth Extinction:  An Unnatural History won the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction.

In it she details how many, many species of flora and fauna (plants and animals) are vanishing in an invisible mass extinction event as a result of human-induced Climate Change.

Procrastination or  'Go-Slow'  governmental policy to address is will be too late because of the closing window of opportunity.

Are you in the habit of procrastinating in a way that may be a disadvantage to you? If so, then try doing today what you think can wait until tomorrow.

Paying attention to your Kundalini connection now rather than a 'tomorrow' that never comes will be worth your investment. More below.

Also below: What African fish stew can do for your Sahasrara chakra; and, the only real way to maintain yourself.

Best wishes

I don't know about you but every time I look at this photo my mouth starts watering. What you're staring at on the plate there is authentic African fish stew. Artistically arranged around it is that staple of African dishes - plantain (boiled not fried). Here, in 4 minutes, is how to make it . What has this got to do with meditation ? Well, if you add enough chilli to the stew, it blows the top of your head off and you can really feel your Sahasrara chakra. Bon Appetit !
Ever Green - The Art of Self-Maintenance (Sahasrara & Nabhi Chakras).
When your Kundalini rises in meditation and opens out your Sahasrara chakra at the top of your head, the vibes are channelled down into your Nabhi chakra and are broken down into the subtle elements ('tanmatras'), which radiate out and have a rejuvenating effect on your body ('rasayana'). Here's what you need to include in your daily practice...
Missed Connection - Reasons To Act When You Have The Chance.
If you miss a train connection maybe it's not such a big deal . You can always catch the next one. Perhaps. But what if the missed train leads to a missed flight? According to Shri Mataji,  kundalini awakening is your ticket to ride the train leading to a better world for everybody. Here's why there's a closing window of opportunity...

Quote of the Week

" Better do it quickly, immediately, this is the time to do it.  Today, when we are [celebrating] Hanumana [the energy of your right channel] you should have that quick-wittedness within .  It is to be done now. To see the results you have to become quick"

"How do I know if I'm 'left-sided' or 'right-sided' and what difference does it make?"
In Reply:

Being 'left-sided' is the tendency towards lethargy. 'Right-sided' is being on over-drive and finding it difficult to relax.

So you can tell which you are by how closely one or the other of the descriptions fit you.

From a meditation point of view, your Kundalini rises easiest and fastest when you're balanced - neither 'left-sided' nor 'right-sided'.

To remedy 'right-sideness' do a regular footspa in cold salt water after work.

To remedy 'left-sidedness' use a candle with the meditation photo.
