Why You Should Listen To Your Fingers - The Art Of Self-Curing.

Why You Should Listen To Your Fingers - The Art Of Self-Curing.

Dear Friend,

Your fingers do 'speak' and can give you an early warning about potential illness and can help you to prevent it. Here's how this works.

First of all, a key word definition: 'Interoception'. According to this US National Institute of Health webpage:

"Interoception is a perception of sensations from inside the body and includes physical sensations related to internal organ function such as heart beat, respiration, satiety, as well as the autonomic nervous system activity related to emotions. Much of these perceptions remain unconscious..." (NIH)

With the regular practice of Sahaja yoga meditation, your interoception extends to your chakras, which are the subtle dimension of the nerve plexuses, which together are linked to every organ in the body.

Your chakras are 'encoded' on your fingers, so, for example, a person who is developing a problem of the heart might feel a pinch or tingling sensation on the little finger of the left hand, if they pay attention.

The great thing is that by simply rubbing the finger, it is possible to clear the heart chakra and therefore the issue with heart before it develops into a medical condition. More about this below.

Also below: Did you know that wearing gemstones can cure your chakras? And, the only way is up; follow the 'path of light' with this guided meditation.

Best wishes

Curing Yourself With Gemstones  - What You Need To Know.
This dude is wearing a ruby on his vishuddhi chakra finger. Ruby is for the heart chakra. What he should be wearing on the vishuddhi finger - representing the power of communication - is blue sapphire. But sapphire stone, according to Indian gemology, chooses the wearer and can be bad luck for others. If you're going to wear gemstones, pick the right one for you. Here are the most popular gems and which of your chakras each supports...
Path Into Light - A Guided Meditation.
When you're going through a challenge and a solution gradually begins to come to light, that's a great feeling. It's like emerging out of a forest into the light, which is symbolic of the path of your rising kundalini from the sacrum bone at the base of your spine to the fontanel bone on top of your head. Take a moment to shed some light on any issue you're dealing with, using this guided meditation...
Why You Should Listen To Your Fingers.
Everybody is unique, and your fingers and hands are uniquely you. They're like twin personalities in their own right and if you pay attention to the vibes on both hands when you meditate, they can tell you which of your chakras are in a good state and which need some focused care. Long before you get sick with something, your fingers were already shouting about it. Here's how to diagnose...

" I worry a lot. So much has changed since the pandemic. I worry about money and my job; I worry about my relationship and about my health. I do meditate and get the peace from that but mostly when I'm not meditating, I'm worrying. Any suggestions as to how to worry less?

If you haven't tried it already then journaling is an excellent way of getting some control of the tendency to worry. There's something about writing stuff down on paper that helps put things into perspective.

How To Tap Into Your Inner Joy - Nirvana In Small Doses.

Achieving Your Health, Wealth & Happiness By 10-Minutes Daily Thoughtless Awareness.

How To Tap Into Your Inner Joy.

Dear Friend,

Although it may not be apparent to you; the truth is that you're built for bliss or joy. All that other stuff that you deal with on a daily basis is merely flotsam or debris bobbing up and down on the ocean of reality.

This is according to ancient yoga philosophy, which describes reality as 'sat-chit-ananda' meaning 'truth-awareness-bliss'.

The reason we don't generally experience reality like this, is because of two mental filters that everyone has : ego and conditionings , which are formed by the aspirations we have and the way we've been brought up.

It's the ego and conditionings that stand like twin security guards at the gates to reality, and they don't let you in. The kundalini is your free pass.

When the gates to the garden of reality open for the first time ('nirvichara samadhi'), it opens for a few seconds and then you're hauled out again by the two security guards.

But if you keep going there ('abhyasa'), the two security guards develop a respect for you and hold the gates open when they see you coming.

This is how to claim your kingdom. More below about how the Buddha got his nirvana.

Why You Don't Need This Health & Beauty Pill.
When your kundalini rises and opens out your sahasrara chakra - the so-called 'thousand- petalled lotus' at the crown of your head, the vibes start flowing down and nourishing all your chakras . In addition to improving how you feel mentally, emotionally and physically, it has a positive, transformative effect on even your appearance. Which is probably why you don't need this much-touted 'miracle pill' at £149/month...
Curing Yourself Of A Bad Boss - A Guided Meditation.
Being micro-managed at work is not good for the soul. Research has shown that if you work for a company that allows you more autonomy in makng decisions involving your work, you're more likely to have greater job satisfaction and sense of engagement. If, on the other hand, you're being stressed out by a micro-managing boss, use this guided meditation to regain your sense of control ...
Your Journey To Nirvana - How The Buddha Got His.
You're a buddha in potential . But what use would it be seating under a tree all day, in nirvana? That's not the purpose. The purpose is to conquer the existential angst which is the source of our daily worries, disappointments, problems, and conflicts which when projected into the world by everybody gives us the state of the world we all inhabit today. Change the world by changing yourself. Buddha not buddhism...

Quote of the Week

" The most important thing is, if we want to know ourselves, then first of all we should get connected to the all-pervading power of God’s Love. We should unite with the vibrations around us. And for this union, kundalini is the only way. There is no other way. Whatever anyone says, there definitely is no other way."

" I work in a large architectural practice. After my morning meditation at home I feel nice and clear. But by mid-afternoon at work I feel a block on the chakra in my forehead, sometimes accompanied by a dull throb or headache. Am I attending too many meetings? What is a good preventive remedy?
In Reply:

For recurring headaches, probably best to initially speak to your GP or opticians if you wear glasses.

Having said that, it is true that certain occupations are particularly prone to 'catches'(blocks) on particular chakras. For architecture (and also law) it's the agnya chakra in the forehead that you mentioned; for sales jobs involving a lot of speaking on the phone, it's usually the vishuddhi chakra in the throat.

Try lightly massaging a little diluted sandalwood oil on the centre of your forehead after your meditation in the morning, and see whether this keeps your agnya chakra clear for the rest of the day.

Love & Your Well-being.

Achieving Your Health, Wealth & Happiness By 10-Minutes Daily Thoughtless Awareness.

 Love & Your Well-being.

Dear Friend,

Love is in the air. Literally.

When your kundalini pierces the fontanel bone at the top of your head , through a subtle yogic opening called 'brahma-randhra' ('the hole of brahma'), the flow of vibes comes in, which you can feel on your hands as a cool breeze.

The name given to the vibes in sanskrit is 'spanda shakti' - 'spanda' means 'throb' or 'pulsation' and 'shakti' means 'divine feminine power'. The vibes have also been described as 'vatsalya', which means the unconditional love of a mother for her child.

When you meditate daily, the flow of vibes you get at the top of your head (sahasrara chakra) slowly begins to permeate your being. The result is that all your chakras gradually get cleaned and nourished in the way that flowers bloom when watered.

Since your chakras are responsible for your mental, emotional and physical health, when the state of your chakras is improved by the vibes (love), there's an increase in your all-round well-being.

More below about the transformative effect of vibes.

The Art Of Walking - 10 Benefits To Your Health.
We all know that sitting down for long periods of time, such as at your desk at work, is not good for your health . So it's probably no surprise that regular walking is good for you - not the gentle stroll to the shop to get the morning milk; but the brisk walk that raises your heart-rate. And, no need to run; just walk; which is kinder to your knees. So here is a popular video on YouTube of the 10 ways daily walking can help you.
Rising To Perfection - Meditating With Repeating Seed (Beeja) Mantra.
We're all on a jouney to perfection. The path of this journey is represented by your central channel (sushumna nadi) through which your kundalini rises. In Indian iconography the power behind this rise or ascent is called 'Maha Lakshmi' (lit. 'Greater Wealth'). Here is a meditation using the 'seed' mantra of mahalakshmi which you can listen to on your commute.
Power Of Love - Your Health, Wealth & Happiness.
The transformative effect of vibes (love) through your daily Sahaja yoga meditation first shows up as increased well-being. But then a surprising thing happens - you begin to feel that you're being looked after in every other aspect of your life: job improves; money situation improves, relationship improves. This phenomenon is described as 'yoga kshema vahamyam', explained like this...

Quote of the Week

"The truth is that you are not this body, you are not this mind, you are not these conditionings, you are not this ego. But you are pure spirit. ... another truth is that there is a very subtle all-pervading power of truth which is pure love, which does all the living work. We see all these beautiful flowers and we take them for granted we don’t think how they have become flowers from a little seed. How every kind of a flower has a different fragrance, a different shape, a different colour. In the same way, we have become human beings from amoeba stage. What did we do to become that? Spontaneously by this living force of love, we have become human beings. So now you have to feel this force which is surrounding us. "

" I have a little corner of my bedroom set up for meditation , with the meditation photo, a candle and I sometimes burn some incense. When my sister's teenage daughter visits, she describes feeling suddenly very peaceful when she comes into my room. Can people be sensitive to vibes even without kundalini awakening?
In Reply:

Yes, people can be sensitive to vibes without kundalini awakening and your niece is an example.

The difference is that with kundalini awakening the vibes are tangible and can be felt on the hands , which allows a relative comparison of vibes to be made.

Your niece is able to say the room feels peaceful but  perhaps may not be able say where the peace is strongest and weakest or which objects in your room emit the most peace.
