Tapping Your Abundance. Samadhan: Key to Satisfaction.
Dear Friend,
I was sitting in a studio apartment off Kensington High Street when I experienced my first insight into Sahaja yoga, having recently discovered it.
The building across the road from me had been knocked down and was now a noisy construction site, made noisier by the incessant sound of a hydraulic drill.
It was against this loud background that I was trying to meditate. As I closed my eyes, I felt my kundalini come up and slowly start spreading her coolness in my stomach.
As I paid closer attention to this novel experience, it began to feel like a flower in my stomach was gently opening its petals. This was similar to the slow motion blossoming of a flower captured on time-lapse in TV Nature programs.
Very soon, I began to experience a deep kind of peace I’d never felt before, radiating from my stomach all over me. The noise of the drilling faded away into nothing.
‘Lord, Lordy! What do we have here?!’, I thought to myself as the pleasant strangeness of the unexpected experience jolted me back into normal awareness.
Over the course of the following days and weeks, I had similar experiences which, taken together, seemed to be gradually unlocking a new way of being within me.
Corresponding to this ‘inner revolution’ things began to change on the outside, as if triggered by what was happening inside.
The sense of peace, satisfaction and abundance increased and things flourished.
It was during this time that it became quite clear that Sahaja yoga was not an interesting side-dish to life but was actually the main meal. More below.
Also below: benefits of ‘colour-coded’ food; and, healing your finances with meditation.
Best wishes
P.
