Dear Friend,

You probably, like most people, have unused currency lying about somewhere from foreign trips you've made.

And isn't it nice to discover a wad of dirhams that have appreciated in value at the back of the drawer when you're planning another trip to Dubai.

It doesn't take a lot of effort to blow 'discovered' cash because it feels so much like a free bonus.

Spending the 'currency' of your vibes can feel a lot like that.

The difference is that unlike cash which disappears with spending, the more vibes you spend the more you get.

This is because your kundalini has turned your 'sukshma sharira' (subtle yogic body) into a channel for the vibes. The more the out-flow, the better the in-flow becomes.

Remembering that vibes are the essence of life and existence expressed as a sensation you can feel on your nerves, it's easy to see why it's so versatile.

For example, you can solve problems, heal yourself, help your family and friends, and make better decisions, just by using the vibes.

Difficult to believe. But you won't know until you've tried it. More below.

What can I do about job insecurity? Is there a mantra for that?

Mantras can certainly boost your confidence but it's good to take some concrete, practical steps first if you think your job is at risk.

Based on previous experience I've had of corporate counselling, your network is the thing. 

Make two lists. On your first list, write down the names of people in your organisation, but in a different department, who you've collaborated with before on a common project.

On your second list, write down the names of ex-colleagues who have moved to different organisations.

Contact the people on both lists to put feelers out for any roles where they are, that they wouldn't mind recommending you for. 

By doing this, you'll feel a bit more in control and some of that feeling of insecurity should go away.

Then, in your morning meditations, work on your centre heart chakra by listening to this Devi kavach (armour of the goddess) mantra.
