Dear Friend,

Self-help books are quite popular and if you've read any yourself then you know what tends to happen.

The title of the book is attractive. You buy it because it sounds like the solution to moving your life along. It's a great read and then you finish the book. And then what?

Marianne Powerauthor and journalist, decided to explore the 'and then what?' by reading one self-help book a  month for a year and following through on each piece of self-help advice.

The book she wrote at the end of her experiment is called : "Help Me! How Self-help Has Not Changed My Life" .

There may be many people out there for whom self-help books have really helped turn their lives around. 

However, the reason the books might just be a good read and nothing more is because every individual is unique and every situation is unique.

So, better than any self-help book is your own book made up of the totality of yourself and which your kundalini can read very well.

Your kundalini goes to your roots in your chakras and this is how she gradually  brings about healing and transformation. More below.

When your kundalini is first awakened, in some people she shoots right up to their Sahasrara and can be felt immediately as the cool breeze above the head.  In other people, she takes time because she has to work out problems on the chakras. But in everybody, with a little patience and persistence, she does eventually emerge at your crown . Then begins the series of transformations described here...

I'm finding it hard to meditate because of worries. What can I do?
In Reply:

Meditate on your worries.

In my experience, meditation practice is easier to keep to when it's used as a way to handle and resolve the things that are going on with you.

With kundalini awakening, paying attention to something can have a real effect.

So pay attention in meditation to the cause of your worries and see what begins to happen.
