Prime Time. 3-Minute Zen When You Need It.

Achieving Your Health, Wealth & Happiness By 10-Minutes Daily Thoughtless Awareness.

Prime Time. 3-Minute Zen When You Need It.

Dear Friend,

Never make an important decision straight after lunch. The Spanish and Italians sleep on it over siesta. You can Zen it instead.

We experience highs and lows in our energy levels during the day because of the body's Circadian Rhythms.

When you're in a low-energy trough, which is typical after a mid-day meal, it's usual to experience a corresponding dip in mood.

Low mood equals bad decisions.

Not only that. When you're in a low mood, you're more likely to experience negative thoughts, and generally feel more pessimistic about things.

This is when a 3-minute Zen practice can lift you up and help you prime a solution to a current dissatisfaction.

For a moment, hold the matter in your attention. Then move your attention to your Sahasrara chakra. Wait and watch in thoughtless awareness until you feel the cool vibes in Sahasrara.

Then let go. See what happens. More below.

Also below: Get fit and flexible with free Indian dance and yoga classes; and, a meditation to put back what your busy work schedule may be taking out of you.

Best wishes

High Five  - Restore Your Emotional Energy With This.
Doing what you have to do and doing what you want to do are usually not the same things. The have-to-dos can stress you out and drain your emotional energy. Here's a short meditation on your left yogic channel to restore your emotional energy and regain some of the joy of life.
Prime Time  - 3 Minute Zen When You Need It.
Buddhism originated in India/Nepal and then travelled to China and Japan. The word 'zen' comes from the Sanskrit word for meditation, 'dhyan'. Your awakened kundalini makes your ability to be in 'zen' effortless. You improve with continuous practice, so whenever you get 3 minutes here and there, go thoughtless and everything turns into a pretty picture. Here's more about it's effectiveness...

Quote of the Week

"[Your] attention becomes enlightened after realization. You pay attention to anything, it works.  You’ll be amazed how things work out, even the smallest things, the material things, the great things, and how you start growing. So the growth is to be achieved by purifying your attention, and to purify this attention is to keep your Agnya Chakra open and be in thoughtless awareness. You watch something, you don’t think about it. Zen [is] the same thing but I think people didn’t understand. Before realization it’s like [talking] about colors to a blind man. Zen [is] the same thing, you watch a thing without thinking about it.  But that’s only possible after realization. So the thinking process minimizes and you start witnessing."

" Which will help me more, meditating in the morning or meditating in the evening?"
In Reply:

Both a morning meditation and an evening meditation are valuable to you in different ways.

Here's how I use them:

In the morning, things feel lighter and I can quickly feel the cool vibes of my kundalini on my hands and on my head, making it easier to be in thoughtless awareness.

I enjoy the mental stillness for a bit and then do 'pradesh' of one or more chakras to benefit from their projected effect on my day.

In that lovely connected state, if there's some matter to be dealt with that needs a resolution then I give it a bandhan. Also if there are any other issues going on that are at the back of mind, I spend a little time with my meditative attention on those to 'dissolve' them (Laya).

So my morning meditation is a combination of being and effortless doing. It's how I advance.

In the evening, after a busy day of being out and about and interacting with people, the first thing I do is to 'de-clutter' body & mind with a foot-soak. I then sit for a short time in a restorative meditation .

So my evening meditation is mainly for getting back into balance and for recovery (health and wellbeing).

Speech Therapy. How What You Say Shapes Things.

Achieving Your Health, Wealth & Happiness By 10-Minutes Daily Thoughtless Awareness.

Speech Therapy. How What You Say Shapes Things.

Dear Friend,

On your tongue resides the goddess of speech, Vagadevata, according to Kundalini yoga. And She expresses herself in 8 different ways that give a certain quality and effect to what you say.

These 8 expressions are themselves all aspects or powers of the goddess and are named:
  • Vashini - She who attracts
  • Kameshwari - She who excites
  • Modini - She who makes happy
  • Vimala - She who makes clean
  • Aruna - She who gives colour to the face
  • Jayini - She who gives a feeling of victory
  • Sarveshi - She who connects you to everyone
  • Kaulini - She who gives you what you want (boons)
From this it's clear that there's no aspect of the goddess of speech which caters to sarcasm, swearing or lying.

These are human innovations and when they are indulged in, it could be said that they reduce the potency of the goddess on your tongue.

However, when her potency is preserved and enhanced with your daily kundalini meditation, She is Kaulini , who gives you what you want. More below.

Also below: Move and impress your friends and family with some magical recipes; and, the only meditation app you need to carry on your phone.

Best wishes

The closest you'll probably come to a religious experience while eating a meal, is when you're eating some of the dishes prepared from recipes in Shri Mataji's cookbook. One of the easiest ways to improve your Nabhi chakra (health, wealth & happiness) is to ensure that the food you eat carries vibes (love). Learning how to make the 4 dishes shown is a start. Get the free cookbook...

Word Power - How What You Say Shapes Things.
Not only does your kundalini connect you to the 'all-pervading' energy of existence ('paramachaitanya'), but she also 'enlightens' your powers of speech.  The combined effect of this is that your words have a literal power that can make them act (mantra). Maybe you don't want to summon rain, and that's OK. So it's also good for improving your relationship with others (Vishuddhi chakra). Here's how what you say comes true...

"This tongue is meant for saying things that will make people feel comforted; for saying mantras. See, if you go on telling lies, your mantras will never be fruitful, never activate. And if you are sarcastic, they will never act.  To make your mantras effective you should stop talking [with harshness]. If you have to talk, talk [in a way] that will be pleasing to another person.  This is one of the very big snags we have on our Vishuddhi chakra."

" How does Kundalini awakening improve a person's mental health?"
In Reply:

Kundalini awakening improves a person's mental health through a gradual 'rewiring' of the brain through daily meditation.

In neuroscience, this 'rewiring' capacity of the brain is called 'neuroplasticity'.

As a result, problems of depression and anxiety, addictions, attention deficit and other issues can improve.
