Many
of you may already be enjoying better meditation and better sleep from
regularly doing the simple footspa detox, but if you haven't tried it
yet, then here's how you can do a quick one in 10 minutes.
Half-fill
an plastic washing up bowl with coolish to luke-warm water. Sprinkle
into it a large handful of table salt . Place your feet in the bowl
while sitting in front of meditation candle and photo, but keep the eyes
open. Sit for 10 minutes, then rinse your feet off and dry them. Throw
the bowl water down the toilet and use the bowl just for detoxing; which

A
search on google shows the cost of an actual footspa to be anything
from £15 to £130. But, you'll be enjoying the detox benefits of a
footspa for just 29p - which is the cost of the salt you'll need to buy.
Now here's why the footspa is good for you.
As
you become more aware of vibes through regular sahaja yoga meditation,
you'll notice the difference between being in a place/space with
positive vibes (such as Tuesday group meditation venue) and being in a
place of not so positive vibes. Good vibes gives you a positive feeling
and lifts your energy. Negative vibes could leave you feeling in a bad
mood and drains your energy.
The
vibes of a place or space is created by the people who occupy it - it
could be a work environment or location. So if there is tension, anger,
sadness, dissatisfaction or any other negative feeling or emotion
hanging in the air, then sometimes you can't help sucking some of that
in. Which is why you can leave the house feeling great but come home in
the evening feeling not so great. You need to get rid of it.
This
is what the sahaja yoga meditation version of the footspa detox does
for you : it rids you of any negative vibes you may have picked up
during the day, which affect the chakras.
Your
meditation improves because the chakras are clearer, so the kundalini
energy can flow better to the top of the head and take you more easily
into the lovely state of mental silence/ thoughtless awareness. Also the
footspa cools the liver down. A cool liver keeps the brain cool, so
you're less likely to be still planning and thinking a lot when you go
to bed. This can help you sleep better.
The
ability to feel the vibes of a place or a person is one of the results
of your kundalini awakening and can be developed. This is the beginnings
of a higher human awareness that everybody may have in the future. In
