Dear All,
As
with most things, if you want to get better at something then you
practice. This is not only true about getting your 10 minutes of
meditation in everyday, but also developing your ability to feel vibes -
your 'sixth sense'. This week's suggested exercise helps you do exactly
that.
Feeling
vibes is an integral part of your meditation practice, because if you
can tell the difference on your hands between when it's cool, warm or
one or more of the fingers are tingling, then you'll automatically know
which of your chakras or channels to clear to get a better meditation.
In
addition, being able to feel vibes will help you to make better
decisions in daily life, based on when something feels cool or when it's
not.
Here's the exercise which takes 5 minutes.
You'll
need the meditation photo , a photo of a friend or relative from your
photo album and a newspaper photo of anyone in public life eg. a
politician or popular entertainer.
What
we're going to do is to see whether we can feel the difference on our
hands when we hold the palms open to each of the three photos in turn.
First, raise your kundalini and put on a bandhan, as we do to begin a meditation.
Next, place the meditation photo down on the table in front of you, hold your palms open towards it, keeping your attention focused at the top of the head. Take a note of any sensations felt on the hands or within the body.

Now, remove the photo and replace it with the next photo and do the same thing. And then finally the third photo.
Did you feel the difference in vibes on each of the photos? You can try a few times.
(For
the more advanced of you, if you felt catches on the photo from your
album, see whether you can clear the catches by rubbing your affected
fingers; then check the photo again to see if it has gone cool. You may
have just cleared somebody's chakras from a distance!)
