Places You Must Go To and Experience

Dear All,

Travel can help you find a missing part of yourself or at least reacquaint yourself with it.

Summer holidays are coming up and apparently, according to a survey, some people return to the same place over and over. Ibiza is fun no doubt, but to really nourish your soul, why not go to Canojoharie or Saptashrungi this year instead.

Never heard of these places?  Well then, see pic below to find out where they are located, both within yourself and as a destination you can fly to.

The significance of these places is that they lie on the energy centres of the Mother Earth and if you can meditate in them then it's like sucking the source of vibes and accelerating your inner growth.

Further down are few notes about each of these locations.

See you at group meditation tomorrow.

Regards

Notes:

1. Dharamshala - Mcleod Ganj is where most visitors stay and sitting on a hotel balcony with a view of the himalayas (which is the sahasrara of the earth) while meditating can make it feel like the top of your head has been opened up and the coolness you feel is the coolness of the snowy sacred mountain. What is worked out by meditating in Sahasrara is worked out everywhere else below, so touch this place even once and see the result when you get back.

2.Canojoharie  in upstate New York is part of the right vishuddhi chakra, that represents communications and broadcast - America has the worlds highest number of lawyers  per head of population( 1 lawyer for every 300 people; compare France which is 1 for every 1,403 people) and Netflix (binge watching & box-sets) is rapidly colonising the TV viewing habits of millions around the world. Canojoharie is a mohawk word for ' the pot that cleans itself' which is reminiscent of the 'khumba', the water jar of Aquarius containing the 'water of life', which is the kundalini. We slept in a large tent all of us, in a field at night at a sahaja yoga seminar and we sensed the presence of the spirit of ancient owners of the land - native warriors on horseback - who had come to see who the intruders were and recognising Shri Mataji as the prophesied White Buffalo Calf Woman, let us be.

3. Delphi - Flight from London lands in Athens in the early hours and journey to Delphi is by Taxi. Remember waking up from exhausted slumber in backseat as if prompted by the vibes as taxi winds its way up a cypress tree lined mountain road and time has disappeared and we are again back in ancient Greece of  distant memory. Is that Zeus we see or is it Apollo? Go to the Delphic ruins and meditate on Nabhi chakra. From Greece has sprung politics and economics that holds the world in thrall and it could be here that it gets fixed.

4. Saptashrungi - 'She who rests on the seven peaks' - is the Kundalini whose home is in India (Maharastra State). Travelling from Nasik in a hired Jeep, the mountain is seen in the distance. After a further one hour journey time, mountain is still seen at a distance, as if it moves away from us as we move towards it. The legend goes that Immortal Sage Markandeya meditated here to conquer death and  in the process called forth the first incarnation of the Mother of the Universe in the form of  Surabhi, the sacred cow (see White Buffalo Calf Woman above).

5. Great Rift Valley, Africa - a genetic trace shows that every human being on the planet is descended from just one female who lived in the area of the great rift valley 200,000 years ago. She has been called Eve. The first sound a baby hears in the womb is the mother's heartbeat which gives an instinct for percussive rhythm and so the drum was invented. With a distant tribal drum as backdrop sit in the fading light and cooling air and meditate on left swadisthana and Eve, the source of creation.

6. Ayers Rock( Uluru ) - due to continental drift - the land mass of Australia got separated from the Indian sub-continent but the sense of the sacred found in India was retained by the Aborigines as the Dreamtime . The red rock of Uluru is Mother Earth pushing out from  her womb the embodiment of a child's innocence, which is the elephant-headed deity of the Indian pantheon, Shri Ganesha. Although treks up the mountain are no longer permitted, merely sitting with a view of the mountain and meditating on mooladhara chakra can reconnect you to the source of innocence.
