Dear All,
How
friendly is your relationship with your own kundalini? This may seem
like a funny question but it holds the key to progressing and getting
the most benefit from your meditation.
Below is a suggestion of how you can get a better rapport with your kundalini, which will be felt as a stronger feeling of vibes on the hands and at top of head.
Also,
you'll know your meditation is having a real effect on you when a
friend notices a radiance on your face and a shine in the eyes. How's
that happening? Click here to find out.
Now,
about the friendly attitude to your own kundalini: it's difficult to
develop a genuine 'friendly' feeling towards something which cannot be
seen (although can be felt) and seems so abstract.
It's much simpler to project the friendly attitude towards the meditation photo,
which you may have noticed through certain experiences, is a real
friend. To meet Shri Mataji in person was to feel the ocean waves of
genuine kindness and generosity coloured with a great sense of humour
and a microscopic benevolent insight into whoever she was facing. Some
of this is captured in the photo.
When
the sensitivity to vibes develops on the hands, the truth of this
becomes immediately apparent when you hold your hands out towards the
photo and straightaway can feel a 'cool breeze' flowing from it. If in
doubt try with somebody else's photo.
This
is the power of the meditation photo to support and nourish your
meditation. To preserve this in the photo, a good way is to keep it in a
glass photo frame and give it a 'bandhan' with a lit candle
before you sit down for meditation. The bandhan in this case is made by
moving the candle left to right; right to left in a horse-shoe shape in
front of the photo three times.
The value of everything, literally everything, can be judged by the cool vibes you get on the hands.
Finally,
if you managed to get down to Bloxham Farm on Saturday for the 1-day
meditation retreat, then please spare 2 minutes and indicate
(anonymously) the best bits and the bits that can be made better for the
next time, by clicking here. Thanks!
See you at group meditation tomorrow.
