Make your house a happy home.

Dear All,
Coincidentally, a few of you mentioned last week that you're moving house/flats. You may be interested to know that, according to vaastu shastra, the ancient knowledge of interior design, the building/apartment/house/flat that a person lives in can have a big influence on their health, wealth and happiness.
But be confident. You could be carrying with you to the new flat all the luck you'll ever need: it's the photo you use for meditation. And it's lucky whether you're moving or not .

Many of us have experienced over the course of our meditation practice that the photo not only supports the meditation, but also seems to increase the positive vibes in our homes, if you give it a bit of TLC (tender loving care). This means keeping the photo standing in a wood and glass frame and doing arti/bandhan* with a candle to preserve the vibrations of the photo, whenever you sit for meditation.
Among the many interesting things people have reported over the years, are how the photo has seemingly  healed (see: 'miracle photo heals'), protected and  brought good luck in financial matters. Generally, the photo seems to automatically correct any 'vaastu deficiency' in your living space(see notes).
So, make your house a happy home. Look after the photo and if you've misplaced yours or want more than one, let me know and I can post them to you. There are a few of these ones (as in living room above) which will be left out on the table on Tuesday,so feel free to take one if you want.

See you at group meditation on Tuesday

Regards

Notes:
* Arti is done by moving the lit candle used for meditation over the standing photo, from left to right/ right to left in a horse-shoe shape 3x.
Vaastu deficiencies are layouts, arrangements or contents of your living space that may block the flow of beneficial energy in the home and can create seemingly unrelated problems of one kind or another for the people living there. The concepts are similar to Chinese Feng Shui, for which there are accredited consultants such as this one : Feng Shui Living - Sylvia Bennett.
