How Affirmations Can Help You Achieve a Better Meditation.

​Here's another way to benefit from your kundalini awakening: try affirmations and see whether you can develop a certain ability within yourself​ or make some positive change. The basic sahaja yoga meditation affirmations are given below.

​If you haven't  quite got into the use of mantras to clear the chakras then affirmations in english are the next best thing​. The affirmations are addressed to your own kundalini, which is referred to as 'mother'.

When you've been using these affirmations for a while and notice the postive effect it's having on you, both during your meditation and afterwards, then you should try and make up some of your own affirmations.

Two examples might be 1. placing your right hand on the centre of your chest and repeating to yourself 'Mother, I am fearless!' - particularly effective if you're experiencing any anxiety or lacking in confidence.
2. Placing your right hand over your stomach and repeating 'Mother, I am satisfied!' - this can help with material insecurity as it opens the nabhi chakra.


You have within yourself a huge untapped potential of kundalini energy and an inwardly expressed desire in the form of the affirmations is the simplest way to begin to access it. You can use this to motivate your daily practice of sahaja yoga meditation  and achieve the results you want.
