Dear All,
It
probably takes about 15 days into the new year for the shape of the
year ahead to start forming for most people. Patterns form fast and then
are difficult to break out of. Especially if there's some carry-over
from the previous year. Here are 2 easy suggestions for creating a
fantastic year ahead without the need for new years resolutions.
1. Tidy Up & Throw Stuff Out.
The
simple act of clearing out a corner of your living space where you've
dumped stuff that's built up, can be very satisfying on several levels,
including psychologically. Even more so if it's a whole room or a whole
house that's un-trashed . Japanese author, Marie Kondo wrote a book
about it in The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, which was on the New York Times best-seller list for 86 weeks and has sold millions of copies world wide.
The
idea of throwing away in order to clean or clear something is a
powerful symbol of your 'inner-work' in your practice of sahaja yoga
meditation. The state of the chakras can be the road-blocks to becoming
our best selves and achieving all we want out of life. With every 5-10
minute sitting in meditation, the kundalini does this deep work of
clearing the chakras of the 'emotional debris' gathered perhaps over
several life-times.
2. Here's a Plan (which you don't have to follow; just use as guide whenever)
A
small note about the 'Geography of the Virata': The Earth is a 'living'
entity with 'chakras' located at certain points on her surface which
coincide with various countries and cities - Mother Earth - spiritual geography
See you at group meditation tomorrow.
