If you’re rolling in it or regularly laughing all the way to the bank, then you can skip to the sports section. Otherwise, if, like most people at the moment, you’re experiencing some form of  insecurity, then the following tip might help.


According to start-of-year surveys for 2026, here’s what most people are insecure and worried about (reproduced verbatim Google AI)




1. Financial and Economic Distress

  • Cost of Living and Inflation: While some data suggests inflation might be easing from previous peaks, it remains a top worry. Concerns about affordability—specifically housing, electricity, and food prices—are intense.

  • Job Security and Recession Fears: Majorities in surveys express concern over rising unemployment and economic difficulty. A significant portion of the population expects 2026 to be a year of economic struggle.

  • Personal Finances and Debt: Anxieties about personal debt loads and the ability to manage household finances in a high-cost environment are high.

2. Physical and Mental Health

  • Healthcare Access and Costs: In the United States, healthcare is a top concern, with many worried about rising costs.

  • Mental Well-being: The "unpredictability" and constant state of "bad news" have created a general sense of feeling overwhelmed.



3. Technological and Digital Risks

  • AI and Job Displacement: People are worried about the rapid, unchecked advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential to displace jobs, alongside fears that AI might not live up to expectations, causing a financial bubble.



4. Societal and Political Turmoil

  • Political Polarization and Conflict: A vast majority of people, particularly in the U.S., expect 2026 to be a year of high political conflict.

  • Crime and Safety: Concerns over crime and violence are high in many regions.

  • Geopolitical Instability: Fears of war, particularly surrounding conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, remain a major source of anxiety.

  • Climate Change and Environmental Disasters: Extreme weather events, such as wildfires, hurricanes, and droughts, are a growing source of personal insecurity regarding safety and the insurability of homes.




It looks like there’s something in there for everybody. The difference for you is that you can phone home.


With your daily kundalini meditation, you are in effect phoning home. Your kundalini connects you to the paramachaitanya / parameshwar which is the source of the innate protective benevolence of nature.


Your Heart chakra is connected directly to your Sahasrara chakra at crown of head, so when there’s a continuous flow of vibes on, the insecurity that arises in your heart about things, gradually dissolves.
