Know Better. Finding Your Inner Child.
Dear Friend,
There's psychological benefit to finding your inner child.
On display outside a shop I sometimes pass during the week is a notice that says: "Don't Grow Up. It's a Trap".
This is literally true. When you were a small baby, less than 2 years old, before you could think or had the ability for language, you lived in the moment and had no worry.
The Swiss psychologist, Jean Piaget, called this the sensorimotor stage in his theory of cognitive development.
Your 'soft-spot' (fontanel) at the crown of your head, through which your kundalini entered before settling in your sacrum, hadn't yet closed.
Your ego and super-ego, giving you a sense of self and memory and conditionings, hadn't yet formed.
Provided you had been fed and burped, you were a bundle of joy, a content little buddha.
However, as you began to absorb the world around you and slowly acquire language and the habit of thinking, the binding and limiting effect of this started getting established.
It was downhill all the way. Much later on you'd learn to swear, to top it all off.
Kundalini awakening helps you regain the pristine awareness (thoughtless) of your childhood. It also gives you a new motor-sensory skill (vibratory and collective awareness) by which to understand the world better.
Practice (Abhyasa) makes you perfect. More below.
Also below: Flower therapy from growing your own; and, still breath, still mind a 5 minute exercise.
Best wishesP. PS. Moon Calendar (at end) this coming week: Wed. 2nd July - Saptami (Things work out); Thurs 3rd - Durgashtami (You win); Fri. 4th - Navami (you're protected); Sun. 6th - Ekadashi (Less is more). |
